Ingredients:
Chicken Marinade, step-1
500gm chicken
1/2 teaspoon chicken curry powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 lemon juice
3 teaspoon oil
For the Gravy, step-2
2 onions
6 cloves garlic
3 large tomatoes, diced
2 Teaspoon grated ginger
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt
3-4 red chilli
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
4 teaspoon chicken curry powder
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tsp. black pepper
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. cumin
Salt
Oil/ ghee

Step -1
Drizzle the chicken with the oil and sprinkle on the spices, salt, pepper & lemon juice.
Massage into the meat and cover, leaving to marinate for at least 2-3hours.
Grill the chicken until fully cooked but not dried out. Set aside.
Step -2
For the gravy
puree together onions & garlic.
In a large saucepan heat 3 tablespoon ghee.
Add the pureed onion mixture and cook over medium heat for a few minutes stirring constantly.
Now add tomatoes, ginger, coconut milk, yogurt.
Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add all dry spices & salt as per your taste.
Sauté for 2-3 minutes till all masala are cooked now add 1 cup water.
Simmer slowly for about 10-15 minutes then add the chicken and simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
Serve hot with Naan/ Rice.
